There are a number of assessment tools available to help landowners and community leaders focus their efforts on fire adaptation work. There is no perfect assessment tool. Which tool to use and when depends on a number of factors such as available resources (labor, skill sets, financial etc.) comfortability with treatment options, preference, and seasonality.
