Community Prevention, Preparedness, and Mitigation in the Gallup/ Grants Area

Fire Adapted Communities New Mexico (FACNM) is partnering with the BLM, New Mexico Association of Counties, and New Mexico State Forestry to host a learning exchange in the Gallup/ Grants area. The event is planned all-day on Friday, November 8th and is located at Cottonwood Gulch Basecamp. The event is free, but space is limited. Please save this date and register in the form below!

The current agenda, which is subject to changed based on participant interests, involves interactive field visits at Cottonwood Gulch Basecamp, and to sites within the burn perimeter of the nearby Bluewater Canyon Fire. Field visits will serve as prompts for discussion and information sharing amongst participants about wildfire preparedness, prevention, and mitigation.
